Do you love healthy, beautiful food? Help us mindfully prepare our cuisine, and ensure the kitchen is clean, stocked and well organized. The ability to work efficiently and follow our signature recipes is critical, but there is much room for creativity and self-expression as well. We serve custom breakfasts made-to-order with fresh eggs from our hen house, produce harvested from our garden, house-made baked goods and pastry specialties, local seafood and organic animal products. This chef also packs boxed lunches for day trips and helps prepare food for the staff as well. Culinary knowledge and familiarity with healthy cuisine, gluten-free, vegetarian and whole-grain, low sugar baking is desirable.
Although each staff member specializes in a specific job, at times everyone assists with housekeeping, gardening, grounds keeping and other kitchen duties including cleaning, serving and dishwashing and ongoing camp chores. This requires the ability to prioritize daily duties with flexibility and readiness to transition between jobs.
