Private Cabins at Stillpoint Lodge

Rustic Yet Refined

All of our guests stay in private, luxurious log cabins, built with attention to comfort and view, enhanced with a tasteful feel of Alaska's rich culture. Our cabins are accentuated by the rich aroma of evergreen spruce trees, shaded covers of birch and willow trees, and the beauty of alder, wildflowers, and berry bushes; embracing the breathtaking surroundings and preserving as many natural features of the land as possible. Surrounded by quiet wilderness, some guests enjoy the sensuous seclusion of their cabin decks, watching nature as it unfolds throughout the day, while others can't wait for the adventure of the day, exploring all that Alaska has to offer.

Intimate Spaces

Local craftsmen salvaged towering spruce trees to build our unique guest cabins. Peaceful, authentic and cozy, we've furnished them with luxurious bedding, robes and slippers, original artwork, modern plumbing, Wi-Fi and personal heaters... adventure basecamp luxuries.

Alaska's Presidential Chalet

Originally the owner's pride and joy art studio, this exclusive VIP suite cabin is perched on the highest part of the property, boasting 360° degree views of Halibut Cove, Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains.  Virtual Tour >

A private helipad doubles as a spectacular sitting area to photograph the sunrise over the mountains or take in the amazing evening alpenglow. On low tides, just a few hundred yards across the waters of Rosie’s Bight, black bears and bald eagles are commonly spotted foraging along the beach. The deck on the opposite side of the cabin is home to a private hot tub, custom standalone sauna, and sunset viewing area.

This cabin is far larger than our other suites, with east and west panoramic sitting areas on either side of a king bed, wet bar, espresso, writing desk, and spacious ensuite bathroom with an open shower.

In addition, this cabin has an attached side room with separate entrance and second bathroom that sleeps up to 4 additional guests, ideal for families, close friends, security, or personal attendants preferring to sleep in close proximity.

Main room: 1 king bed

Side room: Queen bed and loft-style standard full bed

"Amazing stay, highly recommend!

"We are a family of five with three young adult kids. We had an amazing trip.
Although remote, this lodge lacks for nothing...
I am genuinely appreciative of the Covid protocols. I felt safe.

This was truly the trip of a lifetime!"

You are greeted by the stillness

of an ancient forest of spruce, birch, willow and alder, sheltered by magnificent towering mountains.
The only sound may be the wind and waves or perhaps a magpie or red squirrel announcing your arrival."
