Lodge owner, Jan Thurston, watercolor artist, teacher and workshop leader, built Stillpoint as a retreat center starting in the year 2000. Her original artwork can be found throughout the lodge and guest cabins, including a collection of framed originals and prints for sale.
The community of Halibut Cove is a haven for artists, from potters to painters and even our carpenters! Several local residents are renowned artists who exhibit their work at Stillpoint Lodge, two fine art galleries and the trendy Halibut Cove Coffee House.
