Stillpoint guides are at the ready to lead kayak, paddleboarding, and hiking day trips, deckhand and track and maintain an extensive recreational equipment inventory. Our guides have the energy to stay positive, entertaining and compassionate of the needs of the guests, and actively foster and embody the ideals of sustainability.
As naturalists, our guides use their experience and observational skills to avoid disturbing wildlife, keep our guests safe, and teach mindfulness and stewardship. We practice Leave No Trace and are dedicated to responsible tourism. Floatplane, helicopter and boating experience is a plus.

Our charismatic, dependable captains have a passion for the ocean, sensibility for hospitality, deckhanding experience, minimum USCG 100 ton captains license, knowledge of local flora and fauna, and the discipline for routine upkeep of boats, keeping the dock clean and assisting with lodge and vehicle maintenance.
Our captains are proficient in small boat handling, prepared for a trip at any time, and are interested in educating our guests on local history, nature and wildlife.
With 12 acres of land, over 20 buildings and numerous boats, docks and vehicles, maintenance is an ongoing necessity. This individual also works with the maintenance team on groundskeeping, upkeep of boats, vehicles, various lodge facilities, and special projects. The ability to assess, problem solve and utilize available resources is a daily practice. Experience with mechanical repair is a plus! Must be physically fit and highly capable for materials hauling, dirty jobs, and use of power tools.

We are passionate about growing, sourcing and featuring fresh and vibrant cuisine for our guests and staff. Work in collaboration with our executive chef to maintain all aspects of our food and beverage program. The Chef de Cuisine works in collaboration with our management team and other chefs, and is responsible for all aspects of the dining experience. The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for the lunch buffet, happy hour and multi-course plated dinner, the Breakfast Chef covers the morning shift and helps with staff meals and packed lunches, and the Pastry Chef prepares all breads and desserts. As part of our leadership team, the Kitchen Manager supervises the other kitchen staff including the other chefs, kitchen assistants, dishwashers, servers and gardeners, and oversees menu planning and purchasing.

We create a new menu each week, offering seasonal, unique and satisfying homegrown and housemade meals for our guests and crew. Stillpoint massage therapists provide an integral contribution to the health and wellness of our guests and community. As part of our overall guest services, massage therapists work primarily in housekeeping. Although massage is included for our guests, it typically only comprises about a third of total hours worked depending on bookings. Our beautifully constructed massage building has two clean, peaceful therapy spaces to provide personalized treatments. A tidy, professional appearance is essential.
Yoga teacher training or other group fitness instructor training is an added bonus and would allow you to lead classes at the lodge.

Our housekeepers are responsible for working as a team in accordance with our procedures and the highest of standards, including final walk-throughs and constructive feedback. We are looking for a lively and accommodating fine dining sever with bartending and sommelier experience. This critical position requires a positive attitude, enchanting communication skills, limitless energy, and a genuine interest in gourmet Alaska cuisine, fine wine pairings, and craft beverages.
Stillpoint's charming Fine Dining Server is also ideally a sommelier and bartender works closely with the general manager to oversee all front of house services including guest reception, concierge, bar and dining room. He or she is a food and beverage professional who has amassed years of experience as a fine dining server and bartender and who possesses exceptional customer service skills including a keen ability to multi-task and remember details such as intricate menus, client names, schedules, cabin assignments and food and drink preferences.
Happy Hour: Help set the tone for an uplifting evening. Light a fire, select a playlist, set up the bar and help prep the appetizers. This detail oriented individual and is a pro at mixing classic hot and cold beverages featuring top shelf spirits and serving award-winning wines and frosty Alaska micro brews.
He or she is ideally also a trained sommelier, or at minimum has a working knowledge of wine service and helps train other staff on our service standards. Along with the culinary team, they suggest pairings that will best complement the menu. This requires experience and knowledge with how food and wine, beer, spirits and other beverages work in harmony.
Dinner Service: After happy hour, transition to the dining room where we present a multi-course, prix fixe menu with wine pairings and open hand service. This includes an intimate knowledge of the menu and familiarity with local ingredients. For well-timed, choreographed food delivery, communication and cooperation with the chef and other servers is essential.
After Dinner: Continue bar beverage service after the meal as guests move outside to the bonfire or back to the lounge. Ensure the guests are attended to as you complete your sidework duties of busing, restocking and inventory, washing and polishing flatware and glassware, assisting with dishwashing, and resetting the bar and dining room.

Breakfast and lunch are served off a small menu featuring seasfood and fresh Alaska garden produce with many customizations available. We typically serve up to around 20 guests per meal. Our servers are passionate about learning every detail of each dish, know our food sources, and are ready to answer dining questions as well as general lodge and schedule questions.
Breakfast: Help set the tone for a phenomenal day! Many of our guests will wake early and head to the lodge to fuel up at breakfast for a day filled with adventure. Other guests may opt for a later breakfast delivered to their room... so be ready for anything.
Lunch: Many guests have packed lunches and are off property for lunch, but depending on the weather, lunch numbers can change quickly. Work closely with the kitchen staff to finalize the headcount and lunch menu, serve, clean, help with dishes, and reset the dining room.
Bartending: Either you are already a pro at serving beer and wine and mixing classic cocktails, or you are a fast learner! Open bar is included and guests may order a bar drink at any time of the day. On busy evenings, we mayl also need extra help during happy hour.

Strong skills in human resources, inventory control, organization, food and beverage operations, complex logistics, and technology are essential. This role works closely with our guiding, housekeeping, and culinary teams, supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house operations—recognizing that every element is interconnected.
The Operations Assistant supports the General Manager and oversees a team of 20+ staff members, advises on scheduling, coordinates daily operations, and communicates directly with in-house guests. Strong leadership experience is required, ideally in Alaska or within a remote and/or marine environment.
