Stillpoint Lodge Joins National Geographic Traveller Experiences Collection 2026

The invitation to be included in the National Geographic Traveller UK Experiences Collection reflects a shared belief: that travel at its best is transformative, respectful, and deeply human.

We are excited for this recognition, and look forward to welcoming curious travelers from around the world to experience Alaska as we know it: wild, grounding, and quietly transformative.

In summer’s long light, Alaska’s rhythms are constant and vivid.

Days at Stillpoint unfold organically with stunning views, nourishing cuisine, guided adventures shaped by weather and wonder: kayaking among seals and puffins, hiking above the cove, glacier landings by helicopter, and bear viewing by floatplane in Katmai.

At the heart of Stillpoint is restoration—of land, spirit, and connection. Organic gardens and ocean-to-table dining celebrate Alaska’s abundance, while sauna, yoga, massage, and quiet moments by the water invite reflection. Guests come not only to experience Alaska, but to reconnect—with nature, with each other, and with themselves.

We are grateful to be featured in the National Geographic Traveller's Experiences Collection for 2026, a curated selection of destinations that celebrate curiosity, authenticity, and a deep connection to place. This recognition feels especially meaningful for us at Stillpoint Lodge, where nature leads every experience.
