Stillpoint is seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily lodge activities. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have proven success managing multiple departments toward efficient, first class hospitality. You’ll be highly skilled in human resources, food and beverage management, complicated logistics, and technology. You will also work closely with our guiding, housekeeping, and culinary teams, overseeing back of house and front of house operations. Everything is interconnected.
Our operations manager is responsible for training, overseeing, scheduling, and organizing daily operations for a staff of 18 people and communicating directly with guests in house. This position requires strong leadership experience preferably in Alaska or in a remote and/or marine environment. Stillpoint is known for our high level of detail oriented customer service. Our special guest experience relies on the efficiency of our organizational processes and the proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, positivity, and clear communication. Most important is a desire to be a part of a team, a desire to serve, and an enthusiasm and energy about the role.
